Conference Series Purpose

The De Lange Conference was created at Rice University in 1991 by Mr. and Mrs. C.M. Hudspeth. They established an endowment fund to create a series of "De Lange Conferences" in memory of Mrs. Hudspeth's parents, Albert and Demaris De Lange.
